I really believe that when you put good energy out there, it comes back. I care a lot about how work feels while it’s getting done, not just how it looks at the end. I love bringing people together, keeping things moving, and using humor to lighten the room.
This attitude comes from my six years as a camp counselor. I basically got paid to spend my summers outside, and along the way it shaped my leadership skills, my ability to stay calm under pressure, and a lot of my confidence. I mean, being on rapids in the middle of a thunderstorm with twelve nine-year-old boys will do that to you.
That’s why leading with energy, people, and humor is where the best work comes from teams that feel supported, steady, and excited to be there.
